i did this and just had a slight scare. i overclocked to 950, and went to reboot my phone, and it went into some sort of boot load cycle, where it would reboot, load, get to the homescreen, wait about 5 second, and reboot again. after about 7 cycles, i used those 5 seconds on the homescreen to load up setcpu and tune down the overclocking to 800. and scare over- no more rebooting.
now, am i paranoid to think that the 950 is too dangerous for my phone? or am i naive to think that my super-quick, ninja-finger-flicking reflexes is the only thing that saved this droid from a perpetual loop sequence? i plan on keeping it at 800 from now on, fwiw
Current Phone: Galaxy Nexus; running smooth and with no complaints, thanks to dev Peter Alfonso. Keep up the good work.
Previous Phone: Droid (OG); unceremoniously dumped into the nightstand (I feel as if I should place it onto a wooden barge, set it afloat and light her on fire...).
Phone Before That: Doesn't matter.
