I see nothing wrong with other forum members trying to look out for others. Appreciate your input.

I would have to agree, my battery life varies so much based on what I am doing that I cannot tell at all but I have noticed the boost in performance, no stutters, no lag, just enough to make the phone way better

Im also running at 600mhz and I can honestly say using SetCPU has increased my battery life. It last longer then it did before I even raised it to 600.

also all droid are under a 1 year warranty so if something does happen to it from over clocking and it wont turn on or what ever take it to verizon and get another one! all pictures and contacts are not saved on the phone so whats the big problem?

Not sure I like your thought process. Just cuz I can get a new one doesn't mean I don't give a dam about this one

well if you can run your phone at alot smoother and faster paste saving you lots of time surfing the web, turning your phone on, and using apps... why would you worry about it breaking down when you can easily get a new one and not lose any important data?

And once it's returned to Verizon or Moto if they manage to diagnose it as 1) being rooted and/or 2) being overclocked YOU WILL BE CHARGED the FULL retail price ($550 currently). And yes, even if you brick your phone they can, and likely will get what they need. I've seen AT&T do it to MANY people that use cooked ROMs.

And in case anyone wants to attempt to argue that 'rooting doesn't void the warranty' it can, it's at the sole discretion of Verizon. There are a few VZE Techs floating around on the forum will tell you as much.
