Nope. I'll go ahead and go into the concepts. Did you catch the edit on that one post?
Edit: I've had trouble with init.d and vi or nano on Concepts too. Maybe support for those isn't built in with Concepts?
Actually, reading up on it, it says in the original post "When you install the ROM it will wipe your /system and kernel from the phone." That's the issue isn't it? That would explain why I've had problems running the deprimed kernel's primed command too. That's very odd.
Well I just did the tut. that vvilcard posted and this definitely help my DX2. One thing I noticed immediately is that my phone no longer takes 3-5 seconds to wake up so that I can unlock it. That was driving me nuts. Also I do not know if this is related but my available ram seems to stay higher and more stable instead of constantly fluctuaing when the phone is not in use. I know android manages the memory and will kill processes but I am a RAM whore since my WM6.1 and 6.5 days, and I am still obsessed with it. Thanks for all the hard work and I look forward to updates.
Tried this out today on my OG DROID running Droid Concepts v11 with a couple of different kernels. So far I'm very happy that I found this little gem, it took a little bit to work through the steps and then figure out the right combination for my phone.
Can't wait to rock a V8 OG DROID until it dies. I'm not that impressed with the newest phones out there and I'm waiting on the uber-phone, you know the dual core 4g phone with the unlocked and un encrypted boot loader that we have been waiting on for forever it seems....
