For anyone with a D2G who made the jump to CM7 like me, using the Bulletproof Launcher seems to have worked WONDERS for my memory management and speed of everything despite me swearing by the Hard to Kill before... I went from having minor redraws that affected next to nothing, without ever slowing down, to me TRYING to replicate those things that would force a redraw to no avail. Trying to open a lockscreen strangely as it turned via sensor etc., all of that is spot on now.

I use the one set of Gingerbread minfrees through Cust-OOMization, the 6 8 12 16 24 32 ones... and usually my memory only tips over 100MB of usage when I use Friendcaster or several apps at once, and I can usually watch them all close themselves besides Friendcaster.

Try the 3G TurboCharger and Kick Ass Kernel Tweaks?

I was actually doing testing on them yesterday and this is what I have so far...

The IO scheduling tweak (noop scheduler) causes bootloops on some phones so if that happens, use the NO IO tweak version

If you're a SuperCharger too, consider clicking the button

Do these scripts help on stock rooted d1s?

Iow: I don't see in this thread where they are described. I see alot of references to them but...

These will be OK on the d2? Just checking before I run them

I tried the 3G turbocharger and that messed up my phone. Couldn't connect to data, FCs. Make a backup first.

Take off the txt extension. It will be a .sh extension. It's a script.

Are these scripts an update? Are they for a specific phone, ROM or situation?

I think they're updates. They work with any phone and ROM.
