Awesome finally a reason to root, I had this feature on my previous winmo phone and couldnt not wait for it to be developed for the Droid. Just need to get a few things straight, Phone has to be rooted, and I need to have adb installed for this to work? Am I better off doing the steps in the other wi-fi tether thread? What all do I need to get this working other than a rooted phone? Thanks for the help.

    1. Rooted phone
    2. adb available (so you should be able to open a dos prompt, execute 'adb' and get no errors)
    3. That's it. The other thread is the manual steps. This thread automates that.

Let me know how it works for you!

Neither. Type it exactly as shown. The %USERPROFILE% is a variable that contains your profile location.

Check the posts towards the bottom of pg 9 - do you have that su in normal mode? I would expect you would have it in recovery ...
