Tried flashing back to 2.01 from 2.1 -- now in endless boot loop
What should I do
I do have adb shell access however.
Are you saying it's rebooting itself over and over? If so, pull the battery. Or you might be able to give it a reboot recovery command from adb. Anyway, you'll need to get back to recovery mode: hold down the x key when it's booting.
I pulled the battery like 5 times -- nothing.
But finally it took the command reboot recovery from the shell. I must have tried that command like 50 times but finally it took -- previously it said OPERATION NOT PERMITTED.
What is the WIPE command to wipe cache and system?
well, my understanding is that you need to do that before changing ROMs. Don't take my work for it: get on IRC (irc.freenode.net) and go to #android-root and talk to the guys in there and have one of them walk you through the steps to recover your system.
Totally fried my system -- Im stuck at the MOTO screen on boot and nothing goes past that. Cant even get into recovery image.
#android-root -- dead channel
