Forwarding email/attachments issue

I did a search before posting this, so if this is a dupe my apologies.

I was trying to forward an email with an attachment from my Comcast account to another email address; however, when I do, the Word attachment does not forward to the new email recipient.

Anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it? Thanks.

Is the attachment downloaded to your phone? or are you just opening the email and hitting forward? If so...try downloading the attachment to view it, then forward...

Yes, I just hit the 'forward' because I couldn't figure out how to download the attachment to the phone. The attachment is a Word document, and I am able to open and view it, but can't figure out how or where to save it.
