    Angry unrooted wife's droid using 2.0.1 now can't update back to 2.2...help

    After I unrooted I tried to update through settings and checked for updates it shows 2.2 but when I try to download it tells me a restart is required. I turned the phone off and back on but still the same problem.

    What process did you use to unroot the phone? Are you back to the stock recovery? If you use box 5 in this link it will take you back to stock 2.2
    SBF to root and to unroot

    I had this exact problem last week, except i was stuck on 2.1.

    just use the RSD Lite method and it will work flawlessly
