Seeing how it has a GPU maybe it will not need the 1ghz processor especially since the resolution is going to be smaller.

ZZZZZ.... please wake me up when this, and androd 2.1 are a reality.

I would much rather have a definitive target date, and it even be missed,
instead of a vague, maybe one-ofthese-days attitude.

Obviously doing CYA, but shees, just say yeah, we are working on it and it, or No, we give up.

Anyone else think it should be ban worthy for resurrecting old threads without adding any new or useful information?

Yes, lump me in with what others do, cause that's exactly who I am, everyone else.

Speaking of resurrecting old threads without new info, let me get this back on track...

Just a note about Netfix, even if we had the processor AND Flash, you will not be able to stream Netfix.... Netflix uses Silverlight, not Flash to stream movies.

Even with 10.1, will hulu LET us play their videos on droid? Hulu (or its partners) has been pretty restrictive on platforms other than PC, iirc.

An interesting comment about letting us: on Windows Mobile, the SkyFire "browser" was capable of passing remotely rendered flash to phones. Hulu found out about this and blocked that user agent type from their site. They are a good site content-wise, but they are deeply corporate.

True, but I was just reading an old article about how some users were able to retain their flash-based players. Not sure if they've been cut off by now.

I have to wonder about flash on the droid. I imagine it will lag terribly and crash. I'm not sure I'll find much use for it. Might not install it.
