Wait, so if I bought the phone before the update comes out, but don't activate it until around Christmas time, the OTA update is going to take care of itself right?

It will still need to be updated.... why wait to activate it?
Nothing will get deleted.anyway.

well since my manual update....my Droid seems a little quicker and i actually like the new lockscreen.....other than that no complaints at all

agreed it feels a lot smoother. I love how Google is just getting better

Update seems very snappy and fast all around. However, the browser took a major hit in performance. I used to love showing off how smooth it was, but now when scrolling around it's VERY clunky and jittery.

"Acting Funny" while charging isn't very definitive. How exactly is it acting funny?
