Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

I've sifted through about 20 pages of this thread and haven't found an answer; was a way to take screenshots ever developed for non-rooted phones?

You might have seen the answer and not noticed it because it sounds like Root Language, you can take screenshots without root, you need a computer with the Android SDK installed.

I used to use this method but it has been awhile and I know there is a newer version of the SDK than what I used, so I cannot give you specific directions, but it is possible

Does anybody know how to get the dates in the top of this at all? I know it is a executice asst but how do you put your date and schedule in top?

I was actually referring to this, where the screenshots are on actual Droids. How do I do this?

right click on one of those and save it then use photoshop or whatever image editor you use and copy your screenshot onto that image of the phone then post it.

All I have left is to skin the calander.apk to a clear background. It would have been done already but I need to figure out how to change the font color within the calander.apk to a color that will show up on a dark background, If I skin it now it will be black font and unreadable

Does anyone know how I get these thumbnails into full size pictures?
