Will a hard reset clean my gmail account on the moto droid?

My first moto droid took a dunk in some pepsi, so I bought a new one and sent the first one off to get cleaned. It came back working perfectly (thanks portatronics!) and I want to sell it. The problem is that it won't let me log off of my gmail account. Will doing a hard reset clear the gmail account, clear all of my contacts and sms messages, etc?

Yes...... just don't resync after the hard reset.

sorry for so many questions, but I have since moved my phone number to the newer droid and deactivated the old droid. Will the old droid still be able to resync w/o being connected to an active account?
