    is there a way to change the name of an app

    for example , on my main desktop i'd like to change "messaging" to "texts"

    I would also like to know this. I love Handcent SMS, but I'd rather it say Messaging or just SMS...

    Download bettercut from the market and you can edit the name and the icon.
