Speed is actually a lot better than wifi in many places I use my laptop.
But it's too risky for me to use unless I need it and then I just do basic web stuff.
No streaming.
Is this OK through Verizon?? I thought you had to pay $10 bucks a month to be able to teather?
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
ROM: Team Sourcery!
They want you to pay an extra $30 (or $15 for business accounts) to tether with the VZ Access Manager application.
PdaNet just passes along the phone's network connection, using the phone's data plan. For sure Verizon doesn't like it, but there's nothing they can do about it.
Um, nothing? There is no way for Verizon to even know if you are using PdaNet.
just downloaded PDANet. Will have to give it a try.
