1- Do they bill extra for this??

2- Why can you not do secured sites? ...Email is secured. (3rd party)

1. if you do it without rooting yes it will cost extra, if rooted no its unlimited data

2. you should be able to go onto any site, you wont have flash(yet) but its a full HTML browser

data caps aside, if we're rooted and/or using a 3rd party app to tether than we should be able to have unlimited surfing and verizon (or whatever carrier you're using) won't be able to tell the difference? Is that correct?

There really aren't any guarantees if you're tethering without actually paying for tethering.
