i'm not sure I understand why you think it would be a problem, but the answer is no, there is no problem.
How else would you charge it, lol.
Both done via the usb cable, just one is plugged into the pc, other the ac adapter. As noted, computer works, just takes longer.

I had this same question, but it wasn't really pertaining to the phone. Looked around and can see stuff about phone battery life and mac battery life. What I am wondering is whether using your usb ports to charge and run other items often or continuously can be detrimental to your computers life expectancy. My thought is kind of along the lines that heat is bad, and any additional passthrough of charge will make extra heat, circuit wear, etc? Not big on electronic circuitry so was just wondering?
