So the Droid's battery life isn't great, and I want to be able to use it while charging. Someone told me calling people while charging it is bad; is this true? What about using the internet/texting while charging?

It's no different then using a laptop or anything with a battery when it's plugged into a power source.
I do it all the time.
The manual of my old LG CG225 cell phone said not to answer a call while the phone was charging or it might damage the phone.
So there is something to that. At least for some phones. But I never understood why.
But I have not read anything about that for the Droid. And I was specifically looking for it.
And the Droid certainly isn't an LG CG225.![]()
It does sound strange. So just to protect my credibility on the Droid Forums I had to look it up.
The manual for the LG CG225 cell phone is on this page.
At the top of page 10 it says:
"Do not place or answer calls while charging the phone as it may short-circuit the phone and/or cause electric shock or fire."
But I haven't read that for the Droid.
This is not relevant on modern batteries and chargers. I pinky promise.
