    change messages app to other colors

    I do a lot of texting before bed with my droid and the white color of the default messages app is too bright, even with low brightness.

    Anyone know another app with changing themes or better colors. Anything to help me out.

    +1 for Handcent. Aside from being able to change the background color and bubble colors, you can adjust the lay out of the messages or get different themes for the app itself. Plus a lot of other features that just make the regular app boring.
