Hello. I've done some reading on the forums, but can't find the answer, so I turn to you.
I downloaded Companion Link to sync Outlook to Google to Droid. Stupidly, I STARTED with two-way sync, which gave me two of everything. So on Google, I got rid of all addresses, and did a one-way sync from Outlook to Google. So far so good.
Also stupidly, I did a two-way initial sync for calendar, after I had been using the free Google calendar sync tool, resulting in duplicate events. I purged the Google calendar, and did a one-way sync from Outlook to Google, so now my Google calendar has just one event for each event.
However, in the Droid, I have two of every event! Seriously, I don't want to delete the extra Martin Luther King holiday event manually from my Droid for the rest of my life. There must be an easier way!
It makes sense to me to "purge" the Droid calendar, and then reload the Google calendar. I can't find a way to do that. Any ideas?
My thoughts on Companion Link: I think the contacts syncing works fairly slick, I was happier with how the free Google sync works for calendar (I may return to that), and I'm not at all happy with how tasks are synced. They come into Google as a second calendar called "tasks" but then they are all piled up at the top of the Droid calendar screen and unreadable!
I would love to hear some ideas. Thanks for reading.
