06-26-2010 12:20 AMI find that they do drain the battery but to no great extent. The major drains on the battery are the screen, telephone use, and active GPS.

06-26-2010 12:41 AMThanks. Yeah the display is a huge hog! After that it's phone use and my browser is usually right up there as well. I have the stock browser, but might move to dolphin HD or xscope lite.

06-26-2010 01:10 AMIf the widget is designed to poll for something, like weather, it does use data.
Just set the poll times longer so it's not checking as often I'd you find it to be a problemI had a nice signature, but the mean ate it. -
