Not enough freed space on SD card!

I was trying to put the froyo build from droid life, and my mac said this.
All i did was dragged and dropped like other zips.
This hasnt only happened with this one file it has happened with previous ones.

    This is what it said:

"The item “droidlifefroyo-BS-20100608-0521” can’t be copied because there isn’t enough free space."

PLEASE HELP. ANY HELP IS VERY APPRECIATED.

I'm assuming that you did make sure you have enough space right?

The explanation is that the file can’t be copied because there isn’t enough free space.

I like the way you think. That is simply a great answer. someone should reward you with a trophy and a sandwich.

Did you try deleting some backups or other files that you don't use anymore, then repasting that Froyo in?

There is no backups folder under nandroid , probably you see something like BSD-20100412-5612 , 20100412 represents the year , month and day when the backup was created . You don't need all those backups , you can delete most of them and hold the most recent working backup .
You can see how much free space you have in settings - SD Card - Available space
