    preparing sd card: checking for errors!!

    I've done a lot of searching on the issue and haven't found a solution. It seems like many have experienced the problem. I've had the phone since november 7th and not had an issue until today. Out of no where my phone did a restart then came back with the sd stuck saying that and not readable. I wasn't connected to a computer or doing any improper unmounting either.

    Does anyone know any solutions?

    Try shutting your phone off and pulling your SD card out and restart. After everything loads, shut it back off. Put your SD card back in and restart. Just a guess.

    Thank you for the suggestion! I gave it a shot but no luck. I guess I'm going to have to get an computer sd card and see if my computer will read it. Hopefully I didn't lose everything.

    i have been getting that since i installed FROYO also. Im gonna backup the SD card and format it before i lose everything.
