AT&T called the first shot, I don't have any information about this, but I can almost guarantee that VZW will follow suit on this one.

Is their anyway or anywhere on the phone to check how much data you used?
Just saw this story that AT&T will end their unlimited data usage. The guess is that other companies may follow....

Just another way for greedy companies to get some more money out of people.
I wouldn't doubt it if Verizon did the same thing shortly after. I would only be saving 5 dollars a month. I use around 1-2 GB a month. But if I did ever go over by even a megabyte they would charge me another 25 dollars. Doesn't seem right to me but companies will do whatever to get more money into their wallets.
and they claim it is to help the customers save money......lol
If Verizon wants to continue to gain market share they will not do it.

But I think also if they don't do it they will get screwed too. People will see that AT&T has a cheaper plan for the internet. AT&T will advertise that they have a lot cheaper plan than Verizon and everyday people won't know that AT&T's is for only 200MB while Verizon's is an unlimited plan. I think Verizon kinda has no choice but to follow AT&T on this as much as they shouldn't.
I know this is crazy but its getting late! What if the big V didn't follow, if they left things as is billions of iphone users would be heading to the Android based phones. I'm cool with that I'll help help them realize how sweet that new phone is. And maybe the increase in contracts would be more beneficial then, well the other option that would suck.
Just a late night conversation starter.
(sorry)
I've had my Droid since the day it came out and so far I've only downloaded 653MB. I don't think I could ever download 1GB or more monthly. It's nice to know that I have an unlimited data plan but then again, I think this would not affect me.
