Confessions of a text-aholic: how to increase text limit ?

i admit it I text too much.
So much that I keep getting a notification to delete messages.
This seems odd because my save directory in settings is to the card which has 7gb available space.

How do I disable this limit?

My thinking is....if your not actually saving the txts. They arent going to your card. They are on the phone memory until your longpress/save.

Im not sure if you can make it do it automatically but I could be wrong. I have Wavesecure and just back up anything I wanna keep to their servers. And manually save any mms I wanna keep.

Not sure with the stock app. I use GV and everything's synced to the GV site so it doesn't matter what happens on the Droid.

Welcome to the Droid - where they assume that with a full keyboard we won't be texting much. Yeah, you can't automatically move text messages to the SD card. It is stored on your phone's memory (which is severely limited). I just make sure to save all the MMS then wipe messages over and over and ...... over.
