I looked at my battery indicator and it's at 30%. It's usually at 70% when I go home. It's just after lunch time now. What gives?
Tried opening a Word Doc. It's a 68 page document with a table of contents and a few jpgs in it. Took 20 minutes to finish loading so the table of contents became active. Usually takes 20 seconds.
So I go into Settings, About Phone, battery usage. 70 pecent of power was consumed by operating system...8% by cell standby...3% by Screeble...nothing abnormal, but still -- what do you do with this information?
There really is no way to dig inside this phone to find out what the **** is chewing up your battery. This is not normal. I've never seen it burn up this fast. I should be able to load something that shows abnormalities so I can shut it off. What a drag.
Thank goodness it only happens occasionally. My WinMo phone was requiring a recharge at noon every friggin day.
But wouldn't it be nice to be able to lolok and see what was running so you could manage it for the future? I just powered down and back up and hope whatever wasa chewing it up is now put to rest. We will see in a few hours.
