how can this be if they haven't even released the source for devs??????????????????????
Is google in control of the OTA updates for N1 or HTC?
Somebody wake up cyanogen so he can get going...if this is legit:)
If its rolling out on nexus then we can't be to far behind.......right? They wouldn't leave all of us loyal OTA updater's behind. Thats why I don't read any of the hype anymore. Once again we will have our update in a rom before they ever OTA it.
So in the event that the OTA does hit the droid, what do rooted users have to do to get it? If I remember correctly, something in the rooting process blocks this type of update.

I would think that the Droid will get this pretty fast. They handed Droids out at Google I/O to all American attendes. I don't see them handing out a phone that wasn't going to get a 2.2 ROM soon, so developers could test apps on hardware.
Looking forward to the speed bump.
Well good for those with the Nexus One. Hope this embarrasses Verizon and all the other carriers who are busy taking out all the functionality of 2.2 instead of releasing the update.
