Animated GIFS??

So I upgraded to the Droid from the Dare - what an upgrade!!!!!!!!!!!!
One qwerk I found is I cannot view animated GIFS on the droid. I could actually set animations on the home screen of the Dare that ran fairly well in full motion. Gifs on the Droid show up but are simple stills.

Any ideas??

As of right now they are not supported by the OS. I'm just curious as to why a developer hasn't implemented it into a gallery. There is an app called lamisee if you search GIF in the apparently store it comes up. I talked to e developer and he sad he was thinking about implementing it into a future update. I just wish one of these SMS Apps would throw the extention in there or someone make an extension for the gallery.....hell even Steve jobs thought of that one

Fair enough!! I have faith that someone will setup support for it soon. The Led Flashlight app came out fairly quickly and was a very hot topic and one that I eagerly awaited as well. So we shal see.
