What do you think will be the better unit? ?? Droid or they HTC incredible?
I have a droid and so far it has the best screen out of any android phone. color, saturation, hue and blending wise, there's a test floating around the net if you'd like to check it out. the nexus one has a snapdragon which is going to be the processor in the incredible and you can't overclock it at all. i've clocked my droid stably to 1.3 GHz compared to the 1.12GHz you can clock the snapdragons to, and i get incredible battery life on my droid like upwards of 12 hours. on a custom rom side of things there are quite a few excellent roms out there for the droid already, which means waiting for custom incredible roms. some might say that the incredible has flash lite 4.0 but thats only a minor feature right now as the droid will be receiving the flash update for the browser in a couple of weeks. so i would get the droid, but ultimately you have to pick the phone that best suits you.
Incredible FTW! i will sell my SOUL if I have to...wait a second ...I think I already sold my soul for a packet of mustard once
FAILURE is a four letter word.
I'm with you brianv. I don't like physical keyboards. I'm hoping the incredible is really good. I also love the 2.1 sense ui (played with it on the Eris) so I'm pretty sure I will be switching. I'd love a slimmer device with more ram/rom. I do love the Droid though. However, I love Google/android more than the hardware Motorola has made. I will be fine with a switch to new/better (for me) hardware.
ps... I live in Blacksburg, VA ( GO HOKIES!!!) and T-mobile and Sprint don't have 3g service here... I see 1x on my friends' phone screen lol.. Is this 2005 ??? lol I mean i'm only 3 hrs from DC... AT&T came out last year with 3g in Blacksburg..... There we go... Verizon is the best!

The Incredible has impressive specs. And the reviews virtually universally praise the beautiful display. But one of the primary reasons I purchased the Droid was because I could actually read the display in the sunlight. (My previous phone was useless outside.) On that score several reviewers have mentioned that the Incredible's performance outside is sub-par. So I'll have to have a look at it and test the performance outside before making a judgment. From all reports, it will be arriving at Verizon stores about the same time as the sun here in the Pacific Northwest.
