    Text Message Memory Full??

Has anyone received the message that "Text Message Memory Full" and how do I discard text message memory. I use Handcent and don't see an option on where texts are stored or deleted.

I do have cachemate, in case that helps as I should have the tool necessary to remove stored texts. . but I don't recall ever seeing a setting for this.

correct me if i'm wrong but i believe you just delete old text messages right? either long pressing a single text or deleting a whole thread or using the menu button....something like that

Yes, within Handcent (in my case) I delete all message threads, which is why this system generated message is confusing. I cannot locate any data areas for messages, likely due to me looking in the wrong places through Root Explorer.

Went into the stock messaging app and there is no messages there. . .

Strange - I wonder if my low phone memory situation (less than 29MB) could be generating this issue?
