    Droid Touch Screen Test

As an owner of both the iPhone and the Droid, i have noticed the less responsive screen on the Droid. Here is an article further supporting that claim: Finger Fail: Why Most Touchscreens Miss the Point | Gadget Lab | Wired.com

However, since it's not the hardware that is an issue, could 2.1 potentially fix the responsiveness?

P.S Most people don't even notice the less responsive screen on the Droid if they didn't come from the iPhone or iPod Touch.

Coming from a dare to a strom to a droid and by far its been the best but i know it anit the best.

If I could desgin a phone I would take the time to get the best that I can into a flagship phone. Dont get me wrong i think its an 8/10 over all phone with OS being a 9.9/10. But I hope the next Big Flagship Android for big red gets it up to 10/10 or darn near close.

I've never used an ipod touch or iphone for more than 30 seconds, so I'm not sure how those are.

But when I was researching the droid and watching videos and stuff, I noticed EVERY time when someone would touch something and it wouldn't open, and they'd have to touch it again. It always bugged the hell out of me.

I experience the same exact thing. I've gotten used to it now and don't think its that big of a deal, but there are times when it makes me want to throw the damn thing. Usually feel that way if I'm trying to do something when driving.

So in the end, I'd like a more sensitive touch screen too.

Repost, and old crap at that. I posted a screenshot a while back of my own test, and it looked as good as it did on the iPhone.

It also varied between different used to test.

Crap results that were skewed to make the iPhone look good.

First of all this is not a repost, the article date is today, 8pm.

You are probably referring to an old test, which was done by a different person.

iPhone Beats Droid, Nexus One And Droid Eris In Touchscreen Performance

Same people tested. Just because Wired is several months behind the times, does not make it not a repost of the same old info.

Go try Handwrite, from the Market, to see how straight your lines are.

If you apply a rom or theme - backup first!
If you don't know how to backup...Stop until you do.
hint: I name my backups like this: sg6.0_20100428 or ss4.2_20100626 to easily find them later. rom and date.
