Trouble with SBCGLOBAL email

My husband & I both just bought Droids. My email through sbcglobal loads fine onto my Droid. My husband just gets a message stating "loading messages" but no emails ever arrive. I confirmed that the POP & SMTP addresses were identical on both our phones, just the email address & password differ. Any suggestions for getting his email to work?

Log into your husbands sbc account from a computer and go to the mail options. In there you should see something about Web & POP access. Make sure that it is enabled.

Also just to let you know, the stock email app on the Droid doesn't work well with these yahoo mail accounts. It is going to keep showing your mail as unread even if it is read and any changes you make from your phone aren't reflected on your account when you view it from a computer. I think its a common problem with yahoo mail accounts from what I have read, but I have a sbc email and have these issues.
