Q: Remedy for screen going dark while finding websites

I find that when I'm using the browser, it takes a while for websites to come up. After about five seconds, my screen goes dark. Questions:

    1. Is there some setting that I can change to keep this from happening so soon?

    2. Is there an easy way to get the screen back when this happens? I generally resort to turning the phone back on, but there must be an easier way.

    1) There are options under Settings > Display, that let you change the screen timeout. Some people also use an app called Screebl to do stuff like this.

    2) I dont follow. Turn on? Or unlock? If it's the latter, then refer to #1, if it's the former, then you've got an odd software issue.

    Thank you, all!

I fixed my display setting and will check out the apps you recommend.

Screebl is a must and should be included in the OS
