Arrow Get your curvy smartphones now in Asia

All of us Americans sure wish we lived in Asia right now. More specifically, we want to be in Singapore or Hong Kong where the LG flexible and curved smartphone, the LG G Flex, is going to be available starting this week. America is going to have to wait until sometime next year, probably, but that may not stop some people from getting it imported. It is exciting news and may bring LG to the top of the smartphone list. It wonít be long until all the kinks have been worked out, and we know how valuable the LG G Flex really is.

All about the LG G Flex

The LG G Flex is a smartphone that has a curved screen to hug your face, according to TG Daily. Though it wonít heal the screen if it cracks, there is a self-healing coating on the back of the smartphone that will seal up all dents and scratches quickly after the phone has been dropped. For those of you out there who are always dropping your phone, this is a great way to keep your phone looking new all the time. The HD display and battery in the phone are both curved, meaning they were produced specifically for this smartphone.

    When can you get it?

TG Daily explains that the phone will be available for pre-order on December 8 and available for purchase on December 13. That isnít very long for people to have to wait to get one of the coolest new LG phones out there. All major carriers and retailers should have some that you can buy, so start looking now to get on a pre-order list. You wouldnít want to miss out on some new phone technology because you never got around to ordering it!

    Get it now anyway

If you want it anyway, for those who donít live in one of the special markets getting the LG G Flex this week, you can get it imported. It may cost over one thousands dollars to get it here, but it may be worth it if you have unlimited funds and are kind of a tech geek. Trying it out before everyone might be worth it. For the rest of us, weíll just have to wait until a release date for the US is announced.

Will it fit in my pocket?

One of the biggest concerns people have with the new LG G Flex is that it wonít fit in their pocket or will be difficult to carry around without breaking because it is curved. It might actually fit better in your pocket with a bit of a curve, and it will certainly not scratch because of the self-healing back. The curve isnít as drastic as you might think. Mostly, the smartphone just makes it easier for you to hear the person on the other end of the line and for them to hear you with a slight curve. If you check out the photos online, youíll see that it almost has no curve at all, making the coolest thing about this phone the fact that it can heal itself when you scratch it. Youíll always feel like you have a new phone with the LG G Flex.
