+Yes, there is a USB port on the rear of the mold for your phone charger. That's part of the reason it is so expensive. I have this dock and it works with my TPU case too :) But as I found out the other day, the prong for charging is not long enough to work with a hard plastic case. Not sure if this is also the case for Otterbox, etc. But, the dock does come with additional fitted pieces for different cases to fit.
