Music Pause

I use handcent for my sms, and whenever I'm listening to music and receive a new sms, the music pauses for a second and then resumes again.
I was wondering if there was a way to remove the pause?

That's the notification. I get the same thing listening to Pandora whenever I get a notification that would normally play a sound but I have the ringer on silent+vibrate. Seems like a bug to me. If you get rid of the audio notification it will probably fix the problem but if you're like me, that's not really an option.

Im having the exact opposite of a problem. I WANT to have the music pause, because while im walking/working and the music is playing im too active to notice a vibration. But a pause in the music makes me go "wth....oh yea text"

What did you do to fix it? Maybe i can try reversing that.

Did you ever find out how to make it pause? I like it too, I don't see why people complain it's only for a couple seconds.

Try resetting the phone to its factory settings. Good luck with your fitness goals of 2011
