funky screen hues

I was at the Verizon store today upgrading my DroidX to the HTC DNA. While I was comparing my DroidX screen to all the other phones in the store I noticed that the colors on my DroidX seemed to be the "truest" of all the phones. I'm not talking about resolution, just color. Some phones seemed to have a greenish tint, some had a yellowish tint and others had a reddish tint overall. Even my wife's DroidX2 has a greenish hue compared to my DroidX. Are there color settings to adjust this or do the newer phones have different glass that gives these funky color tones?

I've notice this on several devices, but more specifically display units at the stores.

If you are on a ROM and on a custom kernel that allows it, you can certainly change the hues to your liking. Changing the hues on stock, I am not aware of any sort of app that can really change it to your liking, just a bunch of filters that overlay on top of the stock colors.
