Sorry if this isn't the right spot ....
How does one get the Droid to display its IP address? My home network uses MAC address filtering so I need the phones IP address.
Thanks

For MAC Address:
Settings => About Phone => Status
For IP Address:
Settings => Wireless & Networks => Wi-Fi Settings => Your Network Name => IP Address is last item in the list
I'm not sure, though, why you need the IP address to set up MAC filtering. Personally, I would just assign the Droid a static IP from the router if the IP is important.

OK. I'm all connected. Thanks for that.
How does Droid cache the network PW? I hope it is encrypted in case the phone is stolen. Can my PW be easily displayed by an evil-doer?
I use the Network Widget.![]()
I have no idea what the Network Widget is. When I entered my credentials to access my WAP I did just that. It then connected. I am assuming that the credentials are cached some place. I'd like to know the default location, and is it some how protected from unauthorized access.
You can find your phone network ip address in this site Ip-details.com
