    new apps just showing up

    New apps keep popping up on my screen. I didn't put them there and I'm not sure exactly how they got there. Something I downloaded I'm sure. How do I figure out which app is doing it and make it stop?

    Welcome to Droid Forums!!

    If you are running a newer version of the market, or have updated the market lately it could be in your settings. Try opening the market, going into settings, and making sure there is not an option for "Auto-Add Widgets" checked.

    There are also apps that have "auto add on" apps. I ran into this a few weeks ago when my son installed "kill office jerk".

    I read in the description, and it does openly say it comes with those apps... I deleted them from his phone and they didn't come back...

    Hopefully one of us has an answer that helps you out...
