    Companionlink on Razr with ICS

There is a separate Companionlink forum but I see no posts there in over one year.

Has anyone updated their phone from Outlook on their PC, after receiving ICS? I am using DejaConnect USB>

I have been through CL website suggestions but still, it doesn't work. This worked flawlessly on Droid X and GB.

Error message is "found adb device but unable to connect"

    I did all of this:

Motorola devices with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) updates - CompanionLink Knowledge Base

Allowed USB debugging, rebooted phone, etc.

    Thank you

I just discovered they have a local Wi-fi update method. It worked the first time.

    More of the same..

You are apparently a voice in the wilderness what with the lack of responses to your query. I just received my 2nd MAXX after the first one got lifted. I was running Gingerbread on the old one. The new one came with ICS installed. I downloaded DejaContacts to the phone. Followed all of the prompts in the Setup Wizard. Read and re-read the tutorial in Companion Link. I never was able to get the phone and Companion Link to talk to each other. I got the same error msg. as you. From what I understand catching up on my reading with respect to ICS is that it is as buggy as hell. But that may have absolutely nothing to do with this problem of course. I filled out a help ticket with Companion Link. It has always been an adventure syncing the MAXX to the phone no matter the OS. But Support has been good in the past. The Companion Link support center does write that: "Droid RAZR Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) update Charge only mode is no longer an available option after updating the RAZR to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). We are currently working on an update to address this." When this was written, I have no clue.
