Phone turns off

I just got my new Droid 4 three days ago. It turns of and and comes back on every 30 seconds. Anyone know how to correct this???

Are you sure it turns off?? Or does the screen time out??

If its turning off, you need to take it back, you only have 14 days before you get stuck with a refurb, so take it back asap :)

I think that's just the screen turning off as default standby time is 30sec i believe. IF you want it to stay on longer, try Screebl.

Or just go into settings, display, time out, and select another time out period. Don't select never because you'll kill your battery and destroy your screen from"burn in" which is an inaccurate term. I use a minute.

But the screen only times out when not being used. It does so to save battery
