If you can afford to take a chance on destroying a phone like that, more power to ya. Me personally, I think it was stupid. They were putting a lot of faith in the hopes that the nano coating was applied correctly. There are many stories in here of the Razr or a Maxx being ruined by a splash, a spilled pitcher, or a toilet dunk of a few seconds. But it's his phone so he can do whatever he wants to with it.
Well I feel safer if I get rained on or it gets dropped in the pool lol, still not trying that :-)
just wanted to prove how waterproof this phone can be
24 hours later and works great
Why do I get the feeling that if the phone would have stopped working the op would have claimed warranty/insurance:icon_eek:.
I can throw my RAZR at a wall any day of the week, heck I actually do it a couple times a week for the lolz, but I cringed watching this video. Eeeeekkk! :(
Why the tub? Just drop it in a glass of water...get the same result.
Better yet...in the tub, start pushing buttons and opening apps and sound...then id be impressed. Even more so when someone does a water test as specs say it can do.
sent from a RAZR on a Harley!
