Noticed if you login to fb through the browser you can use the chat on lower right. Its kinda hard to use but its possible.

Why not just use Meebo? It's got Facebook chat support...

I prefer Ebuddy over Meebo. I like the GUI better.

The ebuddy interface wastes too much screen real estate and has major background connection-persistence issues. I've evaluated and used both 24/7 under varying conditions, and Meebo wins out. I've unified my logins and enabled chat history by using a Meebo account, and I get the hunch that connections are more persistent this way. If Meebo Devs update to include larger emoticons and include offline Push delivery, I would have zero complaints other than battery drain which is common to both apps.

Yeah, there's nothing like 24/7 communication mode overload. For the love of Droid, somebody had to do the testing, right? Have fun enjoying all that white space and text balloons; I'll continue tolerating the micro-smileys.

in all reality i use it like once a month, when i originally installed both ebuddy was better because meebo wouldnt stay connected and kept making me enter in my facebook info again, truthfully that was like mid to late november so there have probably been lots of upgrades to meebo but at this point its not worth changing for me

Yeah, the connection issue stories kept me away from Meebo at first, but after experiencing my own major issues & non-responsiveness from eBuddy devs, I gave Meebo a shot; and it proved to be more a more robust, down to business messenger client. Both are fine applications if you're a light user, though.

**Now if only everyone were just on GTalk; we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
