My wife and I will be upgrading to new Droids at the end of next month (can't wait!).

Later this year, we will be traveling to Russia (twice) to adopt a child.

Will our Droids work in Russia? Completely? Partially? Not at all?

The Droids will not work at all. You would need a GSM capable phone for it to work and it is $4.99 per minute for roaming without Verizon's international value plan and $3.99 with Verizon's international value plan.

Can I go into the store and have my Droid replaced for dust being under the screen? There is a reasonable amount of dust under the top left corner of the screen.

I don't feel that I should have to go through the insurance stuff since I haven't done anything that would cause this. I'd also like to ensure that I get a new phone, not a refurb replacement.

Yes, You can use wifi anywhere with no cost, well as long as it's free wifi.

i have unlimited data on my line, which is the primary line on my plan, but the other users dont have data. i am going to get the droid under a line that doesnt have data, and switch it over to my line. is this possible?

Unless you are within the 30 day Worry Free Guarantee period there is no way, if you get a replacement phone that it is going to be a new phone.

As long as the line that is going to have the droid active on it has a data plan you will be fine.

A quick question. Does anyone know if a mobil web site can charge your phone and bill with out you authorizing it? Cause I have been to a few sites that say access site for however much money. I never click anything but could they charge me?

Yeah, check your bill for "premium text message" charges.

My dad took an IQ test on some website more than a year ago (no idea when, could've been long before that but I can only see the last year's worth of bills) and some company has been charging him $20 a month worth of premium text messages.

hey all, just a few days ago i had noticed that the "tech" colum that viperboy had posted was getting alot of questions just...in general, not about tech. so im a verizon customer service rep, and im opening up this thread for any general account questions.
