    Question Amazon Upgrade + Grandfathered Data

    I have searched high and low for this but to no avail.

    Amazon offers some great upgrade offers (as does Costco online) but in both cases, if I select "upgrade and keep my existing plan" I am required to select a new data plan.

    Does anyone know how to do this and keep my grandfathered unlimited data plan?

    Amazon doesn't always know the specifics on how verizon works they are just like the authorized retailers you see in the mall.

    Chances are you will call amazon and they will give you false information, you'll activate the new phone then loose the unlimited data. At this point it will be too late as there will be no way to reverse it.

    ^ Exactly! Call VZW and explain the situation. They'll have record of your initial call so if for some reason unlimited gets removed, a simple phone call should have it back on. When in doubt, cover your tracks and make the call.
