Anyone w/ a Rooted Droid received the latest OTA update 2.0.1 / 2.1?

I have a Rooted Motorola Droid running 2.0.1, I've seen were people have already received the Jan. 22nd OTA update, but I cannot recall seeing anyone saying there Droid was Rooted... So if there is anyone who has a Rooted Droid with SU installed and has received the update, please post... Thanks

Unless you modified the otacerts file you should still get prompted to update. You will probably lose root though.

What if we have sprecovery installed? ( since the newest version blocks them, will we be able to ota, or will we have to update another way that might wipe data?)

You will most likely have to wait until someone posts a copy to download and update manually.

I got the OTA update at about 3AM Monday. It did remove root, but I just reapplied the root update.zip like normal and it worked fine. I had only just rooted, hadn't gone any farther, so I was back where I was. I can't speak to anything further. I'd probably run it again if I could DL it, I think It may be smoother that way.

I've looked into the otacerts files in the root manager and it doensn't appear to be set where I cannot receive updates, but I could be wrong, guess I'll know by the 23rd.... That's if someone hasn't already extracted the download for manual entry, that's what I did last time as well... Let me know how it goes for you all and I will do the same....

I'm currently rooted (haven't done much else to the phone)
no update yet.
Interested in knowing if anyone has recieved it with root.
my otacerts file is unmolested, though if there's anything else blocking updates currently I don't know about it.

I am afraid of rooting my Droid for this very reason, I'll let OTA take care of updates

I'm not a programmer so it's probably stupid of me to even bother asking, but what good blocking the ota update do anyways? I mean if the android team fixed the hole or exploit that was used to gain root access in the first place, then wouldn't that mean that we have to wait for some mod devs to create a new hack that gives root access through a different exploit?

I just see people talking about like renaming a file then updating and renaming it back (otacerts?) but i'd think if they patched it then it's patched and it doesn't really matter what you do, just gotta wait for someone to find a new root method.
