    Help with music files

I downloaded an album from the amazon mp3 app and it features various artists. But it shows up as each individual artist in my music folder. The only way It will show up as an entire album is if i click on "album" when first going into the folder. How can I change this so when I click on "artists" it shows up as one artist. Thanks

You can edit the ID3 metatags via iTunes or whatever music program you use and change the artist name

Matter of fact I would recommend you use iTunes to manage your music. That way you won't have that kind of issue, iTunes will automatically set it up for your by artist and album. You could just create a playlist of the album and you'd be set.

Doesn't iTunes convert your audio to AAC format?
The conversion is the reason I gave up on iTunes. I have way too much music to have to wait for it all to convert.

I've ripped CD's using WMP and they work fine on the Droid. Only problem is they don't get listed by album number, rather each album's tracks are listed alphabetically.

iTunes will convert .wma files to .aac... but it doesn't mess with .mp3 files.
