Just curious, how much are these expected to cost? I put a lot of videos on my droid and only have 1 gig left.

Probably a little over double current 16GiB microSDHC cards. So, probably somehwere between $100 and $120(perhaps only immeadiately after release).

Thanks, and yikes. I was hoping for under $100. I might as well wait until summer or something, hopefully they will be around $60-$80 buy then.

By summer it might even be cheaper than that. Of course, one last thing: every time in history a company releases an enormous increase using brand spanking new tech, it's quite expensive at first, then within a month it drops right off. It might be to $80 by March if you follow that rule strictly.

I wouldn't mind it for extra storage, not necessarily for the Droid.

With that much room I could ditch my flash, I always have a USB Cable available on me for puter work. And the movie collection, just because I could.

Isn't the Droid just so useful? It's a phone, it's a flash drive, it's a SNES and a Gamegear. It's a movie player and an MP3 player, it's a flashlight, a voice recorder, a GPS, a camera, a nearing full HD video camera. It's a small computer. Unfortunately for me, I'm a "power user" and a devloper and such. I have to carry around a 500 gig external hard drive PLUS my laptop with a 500 gig hard drive. Okay... I only really have access to half of that. 10 operating systems on a hard drive... is... cramped.

Yes, well, we'd need an update because the Droid can only access 32GiB. I'm sure we would get one or would have one made by a dev. I'm hoping that it's not a technology limit, though, like the difference between regular SD and SDHC. Then we'd be quite stuck.

It's a barcode scanner, metal detector and compass too.

I would love to have one. I guess when another manufacturer makes them I will. I WILL NOT own anything else made from samsung. Check my post on twitter. I hate and despise them. Wife's phone goes in the trash tonight! I guess she gets a new phone tomorrow whether she likes it or not.
