30% battery left from overnight charging?!

I don't get this. I verified my phone is properly plugged in (with the standard AC power cable it came with) and that it has power and it was charging (icon). I left this plugged in overnight and I just unplugged it now and looked at it and it only has 30% charge.

I open up TASKiller and I have the following apps running:

Digiclock
Battery Widget
My Uploads
Calendar
Corp Calendar
com.motorola...
91PandaHome
Gmail
Settings
TasKiller
Messaging
Weatherbug

I do run wifi while I'm at home (and I always have been without any battery issues).

Why is this happening and what can I do to rectify this issue?

Check your battery info and see what is draining your battery.

click settings, click about phone, click battery use

Well after I unplugged it I called VW to ask them. When I plugged it back in, the metrics changed so it's no longer relative.

After a 5 min call I'm now down to 20%...grrrrr WTF?!

Go to Verizon store. Maybe they can switch the battery and see if it fixes it. Let us know what happens.
