    Is there an APP that turns your volume or camera button into on/off switches?

    It seems that would be a nice thing to have........is there an app for that?

    i think it's hard-wired this way. why is everyone obsessing about changing the location of the power button?

    I have bad arthritis and it is a little difficult to turn on sometimes....I was just hoping for an alternative.

    Screen Mode Widget can at least wake up the phone using the camera or volume button, but you would still have to turn on/off using the power button

    what about sliding the keyboard open? that's alot easier than trying to push a little button.
