Can't you just flash the original ROM from your phone? Sorry i'm not very tech savvy.
Rsd is the last thing you do if your phone is bricked. You are using an sbf file, the phones original os. Rsd is used when you cannot access the recovery on your phone. You load into the boot loader by pressing power+camera+volume.

Of course this was before my D2G, this recovery can't get written over as far as I know, and the custom recoveries are just loaded with script within the ROM boot.
